A sustainable press
Since its inception, Fineart Connection has taken seriously its commitment to providing environmentally friendly service, taking a clear stance on respect for the planet by carefully selecting partners with the same vision, despite the increased costs this entails.
The decision to use Hahnemuhle paper stems from their commitment to the environment. For many years, they have supported international environmental projects through the Green Rooster initiative, which includes reforestation, animal protection, and environmental education programs. Their neutral impact and FSC © and PEFC © paper certifications are a testament to this commitment.
Adopting certified Epson Digigraphie printers with water-based inks, where the industry routinely uses petroleum-based inks to reduce costs, is a key point for us. These water-based inks are less polluting and completely free of harmful volatile compounds found in many indoor prints sold online every day.
Furthermore, the choice to use almost entirely cardboard-based packaging and a reduced amount of plastic allows us to drastically reduce our impact and that of our customers.
Our laboratory
Our printers have always used water-based inks that do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful to animals and people.
Water-based inks also allow us to reduce the risk of fire and toxicity (as they do not emit odors and are non-flammable), unlike the solvent/petroleum-based inks that are much more widespread in the world of digital printing.
Our product packaging is designed and engineered with eco-sustainable materials that can be recycled, resulting in a reduced environmental impact.

100% Vegan Sustainable Cards
Hahnemuhle papers are made exclusively from primary fibers. A key factor is the lignin-free cellulose used, obtained from deciduous and coniferous trees grown in sustainably managed, FSC © or PEFC ©-certified forests.
The water used to produce FineArt paper comes directly from the source and is characterized by a particularly high level of purity, meaning it does not require chemical treatment. Even at the end of the production cycle, the water used is free from pollutants and is returned to the river as pure water.
All the electricity for card production is generated exclusively from renewable sources, such as wind, hydro, and solar. This allows us to sustainably reduce CO2 emissions.
Hahnemühle papers contain no animal or genetically modified ingredients. All papers are vegan and cruelty-free .
